2017-2018

Welcome
to my web page. You will find monthly calendars that include all homework assignments, due dates, and unit test dates on the Google Classroom account as an announcement. All dates are a "due on" date which means everything should be completed when the student walks in the door that day. In the event of an excused absence it is due on the date of return. Also included is a Course Syllabus which includes all course expectations, a grading scale, and the California State Standards which is our curriculum guide. Monthly Calendars can be found on Google Classroom at least 1 week before the new month and a copy is given to each student. I encourage parents to ask to see work and to query students as to what we are doing/covering on an ongoing basis. Students should have an organized history notebook (either paper and/or digital) devoted solely to this class in which all classwork, homework, resources, and calendars/daily agendas are kept. Cornell Note templates, readings, and worksheets are also posted on Google Classroom as announcements or given to students as a hard copy. Grades are updated regularly on Aeries which can be viewed through the student or parent portal.
