I am a graduate of The University of the Pacific with a Bachelor of Arts in Interamerican Studies. At UOP I was enrolled in Elbert Covell College where half of the students were from Latin America. The general education coursework was taught in Spanish, and I spent half of my student teaching at the American School in Mexico City. My husband is a native of Caracas, Venezuela, and we've been married 32 years. I have a double major in Spanish and English-as-a-Second Language. I have been a teacher for 33 years. This is my twenty-sixth year at Bolsa Grande High School. My first years of teaching were spent in the Los Angeles Unified School District.
I love teaching at Bolsa. I am fond of saying that Bolsa is the best school in the best district in the best county of the best state in the best country in the world!
