Bolsa Grande High School

Welcome to Bolsa Grande Matador Athletics.  We are very proud of our sport's teams, coaches, and especially our Student-Athletes.  Bolsa Grande is a CIF Southern Section School with an enrollment of approximately 1800 students.  We compete in the Garden Grove League with five other Garden Grove District High Schools.  Each athlete and coach recognizes the importance of following the CIF Southern Section "Six Pillars of Character" and the principles of "Pursuing Victory with Honor".   Our coaches and athletes also adhere to the Garden Grove Unified School District Code of Ethics that calls on them to maintain character on and off the playing field.

To participate in sports a Student-Athlete must complete one time only during their four years at Bolsa Grande High School the Acknowledgement of Risk in Athletics form.  This form must be completed and signed in the presence of a witness in the school or athletic office.  This form should NOT be completed and signed at home.  Along with the Acknowledgement of Risk in Athletics form Student-Athletes must also complete a Preparticipation Phyical Evaluation form, an Emergency Release form, Athletic Residency/Transfer Eligibilty form, Athletic Code-Philosophy and Regulations form, Athletic Code of Ethics form, Parent Code of Conduct form, and an Athletic Insurance Information Statement (if you do not have your own insurance, school insurance may be purchased through the Athletic Office).  These forms/documents are all available in the Athletics Office or can be downloaded from this website.
