Hello to all who come by and visit my page. I'm Ms. Young, also known as Coach Young, and I teach Physical Education 9 and Women Strength Training for grades 9-12. This is my 11th year teaching and coaching at Bolsa Grande High School and I'm very happy to be a part of this Matador family. I am also the head varsity coach for both girls and boys volleyball where our motto is "ONE TEAM, ONE FAMILY". I attended San Diego State University where I received my B.S. in Kinesiology. I coached for a club volleyball team in San Diego called Starlings, USA for 4 years and also played 1 year of volleyball at San Diego City College. I have enjoyed working with kids all my life. My favorite kids are my nieces Emily, Olivia and Audrey. They are the sunshine in my life and a constant reminder to always still get excited over the little things. I enjoy what I do and I'm very happy to still be a part of the Garden Grove Unified School District. I grew up and attended Garden Grove Unified schools (Post Elementary, Irvine Intermediate and La Quinta High) and feel very honored to be able to give back to the community that raised me.
