Physical Fitness Days

FITNESS DAYS

2 days a week (usually Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday)

We have FITNESS DAYS twice a week to help students improve on their physical fitness. The state requires 9th grade students to participate in what is known as the Physical Fitness Test. Included in this test are the following:

Push-ups
Sit-ups
Timed Mile
Sit and Reach
Trunk Lift
Height
Weight

It is our goal as physical fitness instructors to help our students succeed the best they can in these tests. The best way to improve a skill is to continually practice that skill consistently over time. We ask that all students participate at their fullest potential to have an overall successful outcome in May.
