Principal's Message

I am excited to welcome you to the school year and join Bolsa Grande High School as your Principal. It is an honor to join a community of teachers and staff who are dedicated to providing our students with the best possible high school experience.

I look forward to continuing Bolsa’s long standing traditions and also being a part of an innovative and creative school staff that consistently looks to the future and what our school community and students can become. We are committed to providing an exceptional education that is grounded in our District Goals (Spanish, Vietnamese). Here students will be empowered to excel academically and supported and inspired to learn. Each day, students will gain the Academic Skills needed to find success in the classroom and engage in a rigorous curriculum. They will build their Personal Skills and become creative and critical thinkers with a love for lifelong learning.

Our graduates are well prepared for Lifelong Success. In their time at Bolsa Grande each student will create a plan to meet their educational and career goals and be supported by our counseling team in taking the steps necessary to follow a clear path to life after high school.

Throughout their four years, students will engage with a challenging curriculum that promotes high level thinking through engaging lessons and research based instruction. Bolsa offers an extensive selection of Advanced Placement (AP) courses across various disciplines. In every classroom, Bolsa’s teachers are dedicated to providing high level instruction in an environment that motivates students to grow in their thinking and supports them as individuals.

Outside of the classroom, Matadors will find opportunities to explore their passions. Through Athletics, Visual and Performing Arts, clubs and activities, our students deepen their high school experience and make our school community a place where students thrive.

Family Involvement is key to our students’ success both in and outside of the classroom. When our students' home and school communities come together, great things happen for them. You will be hearing from me throughout the year when opportunities for you to join us arise. I look forward to working with our students and families throughout their amazing High School experience at Bolsa Grande!
