Welcome back to the 2025-2026 school year and a friendly welcome to the class of 2029!!! Welcome to our course homepage. As you browse through these links, you will find all the important course information and updates, and homework assignments that you will need to be successful in this course. My name is Mrs. Terflinger, aka Mrs.T.  This is my 24th year teaching here at Bolsa. I encourage my students to take academic and writing risks; this is how you will become a better critical thinker. I am an Orange County native. I graduated from Fountain Valley High School in 1996. I went straight to San Diego State University where I received my bachelor’s degree in English in 2000. I then went to Cal State Long Beach to earn my teaching credential in 2001. I have been married to my hubby for 22 years. I have a 20 year old son, who attends Orange Coast College, and a daughter who is almost 17, and in 11th grade at Fountain Valley High School. When I'm not teaching, I am hanging out with my friends. I love teaching, and can't think of anything else I would want to do with my life.
