Hello Students and Parents,

This is my sixth year teaching at Bolsa Grande, and I am proud to be a part of the Matador family. I have been teaching English in the Garden Grove District for the past 8 years: Pacifica High School (2006-2008), La Quinta High School (2008), and Bolsa Grande (2008-Present). Over the past 8 years, I have taught English 1P, 1H, 2P, 2H, 3P, and 4P. For this 2013/2014 school year, I am teaching both Sophomore College Prep and Sophomore Honors English. Students should expect a rigorous English class with strong focuses on writing, grammar, and interpreting literature.

Beyond the classroom, I am the head Freshmen Football coach and club advisor for the Make-A-Wish Club. I have been the head freshmen football coach for the past 4 years, and this 5th season is off to a great start. The Make-A-Wish Club works directly with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and our sole purpose is to raise money with a goal of sponsoring a child with a terminal disease. With the monies we raise, our sponsored child will have their life-long dream fulfilled. For further information about the Make-A-Wish Foundation, please visit their website wish.org. I am looking forward to a fun, exciting, and rigorous 2013/2014 school year!
