-Read Pages 320-322 in your big Holt text books for Tuesday 1/19/10

-Create a symbol for each vocabulary word.
-Read the short story, "The Scarlet Ibis", and answer the questions in the yellow boxes #'s 1,2,4,5, & 6. Due Tuesday.
-Quiz in the morning on the reading!!!
-Bring Big Books Tuesday!!!

-Read "Lady or the Tiger" on page 297 in your big books.

-Bring your big books Wednesday!!!

-Grammar, "Comsistancy of Tense" due Friday 12/11/09

-Finish Grammar worksheet on "Case"

-Read "Exile" page 256, and complete theme chart. Compare themes between Exile and either "Sniper" or "cranes".

-Write a paragraph comparing the similarites & differences between the 2 themes.
  (1) What sre the themes?
  (2) Were they similar in any way? different? explain how?
  (3) What was the biggest difference between the theme from a work of fiction compared to a    
       work of nonfiction?

1. Cover (This may be hand drawn, computer generated, black/white, or color)
    -Must have illustration, book title, author's name, your name, and period.
