Assignment
Research the play your monologue is from, so that you understand the given circumstances. Ideally, you will read the entire play -- however, research online will suffice in this case. You are required to print or write a synopsis of the play and bring it to class on Monday. The short synopsis in the yellow books does not count. Your synopsis must be longer and include more detail.

Assignment
**20 POINTS** Bring in a photo of yourself. This could be a picture of you doing what you love (e.g. playing soccer, dancing), with people that are special to you (e.g. family, friends), or at a special time in your life (e.g. 8th grade graduation, a birthday party), or anything else you'd like to share. You may bring in a hard copy of the photo or use a smart phone.
The photo will be put up on the document camera and shared with the class. You will speak for 30 seconds about the photo, introducing yourself to the class and then describing why you chose this photo and what is happening in it. The goal is for us all to get to know each other better, and for you to begin getting comfortable sharing in class.
I will give you an example in class and take any questions on the assignment. I look forward to learning more about each and every one of you.
