English 1 Honors is a course that explores in depth the many genres of literature, the several domains of writing and the various elements of grammar and vocabulary. Higher-level thinking skills are developed through creative activities, intellectual discussions and speaking activities.
This course not only satisfies one of the requirements for high school graduation but also one of the A-G admissions requirements for university. For a description of class rules and the like, please see the attached Class Policies guide.
