In this presentation you’re going to create a dialogue or a skid in which you’ll utilize the commands, and the reflexive verbs from unit 5.1. you’re free to create your presentation in the fashion you feel must comfortable with. The important part is to correctly use the commands, and the reflexive verbs your learned, and tested on last Friday. Be creative, and don’t forget to use the vocabulary from the unit as well such as body parts, personal hygiene, and house chores. Each student will be graded individually, but the group effort will be taking into consideration.

Create a conversation between you, your friend, and the store owner using the vocabulary from chapter 4.2 (jewelry, leather items, pottery, etc.). Each student is expected to use at least 4 verbs from the stem changing list (o-ue), and the direct, and indirect object pronouns.

In this presentation you and your partners are going to invite your schoolmates to participate in your sport’s club. You can begin by discussing the details of your sport, how it is played, and what is needed. Then you can talk to the class, and invite the students to participate. Tell them how fun it is, and what the benefits of playing that sport are for the student’s health, and well being in general. Make sure you’re persuasive, and tell the student that they will be joining the best sport’s club in the entire school. Use the vocabulary from unit 3.2 as well as the verbs, and transitional words as much as possible.

Then your friend will call you back, and your greet each other asking each other how you feel (verb estar). Then you discuss your favorite sport or activity. Tell why you like it or if there is a sport you absolutely dislike and why (verb gustar). Also use the expression ACABAR DE in your dialogue. If you need to use vocabulary that has not been taught, PLEASE do so. Remember that your success in this class, and in life in general depend in great part of your enthusiasm for what you do.

In this project you’ll conduct an interview about a student who’s not doing well at school. In groups of three you will have a student playing the role of the interviewer , and the other two answering the questions. Each question will be answered by each student in different ways. Then you will compare, and contrast the answers, and the interviewer will make suggestions on how to improve your performance. Even thou your experience with the language is new, I urge you to challenge yourself, and makes this a real experience. Each one of you need to either ask a minimum of five questions, and/or give five answers IN COMPLETE SENTENCES. Enjoy the project, and remember that what causes stress comes from lack of interest in what you do.
