Algebra 1A SE (Section 3)

Course Description

This class is specially designed for the visually impaired. The Algebra 1 sequence is split into two years of instruction. The chapters covered in this class are chapters 1-6. Students will use accomodations and modifications listed in their IEPs to be successful in this class.
Major areas of study include working with real numbers and polynomials, evaluating formulas, solving first andsecond degree equations and inequalities, and solving systems of equations and inequalities. The major goals of this course are to assist students in developing skills necessary to meet the algebra content standards and to prepare students for the High School Exit Exam.
