Child Understanding (Section 1)
Course Description
Child Understanding is a practical class in caring for, interacting with, and understand children from the prenatal stage through the preschool years. Students will explore the various ages and stages that children progress through as they develop. Emphasis will be placed on the interaction students have with the children they associate with in their lives right now as brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, or caregivers. Career oportunities in child related fields will be included. Child Understanding is a class that is one semester in length. It meets graduation requirements as 5 of the 65 credits you need to graduate from Bolas Grande High School.
