Course Description
COURSE INFORMATION
Tutorials and tutoring are a major part of the program. Every Tuesday and Thursday, students participate in a tutorial asking and answering questions in the core academic areas.
Grade checks must be printer or copied down by students on the dates below. Parents must sign these and return them to me by Friday. At this time, she/he and I will meet and discuss progress, future goals, and actions/interventions that need to occur in order to raise any poor grades.
Finally, binder checks occur every Friday. The syllabus attached gives a supply list of things needed for the binder. Students must have all their course materials included and organized. Other classes need to be included with the exception of teachers who require an interactive notebook. Each week that the students turn in their binders, ten Cornell notes are required as well. These notes are taken in their other classes and shown on the date of the check to demonstrate their participation in their other classes.
