BRIEF OVERVIEW OF COURSE
The course is designed to understand the geographical, historical, and political background of the Vietnamese people and the implications of those factors on Vietnamese culture in America today. The goal of the course is for students to answer the question: How does the historical past contribute to the present; Students will evaluate the consequences of past events and decisions and determine the lessons that were learned
