WASC

The Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) accreditation process is called Focus on Learning. The goal of this process is to evaluate a school's impact on student learning, as well as the effectiveness of the school's programs and its operation. A WASC accreditation team visited Bolsa Grande High School in the spring of the 2016-2017 school year.

Prior to the WASC visitation, Bolsa Grande staff, students, and parents continually met to discuss and evaluate the effectiveness of our programs in the areas of vision, culture, curriculum, instruction, and assessment to determine our strengths and our areas that need growth.

Bolsa Grande High School is proud to announce that at the end of the visitation, the WASC team awarded Bolsa Grande a six-year accreditation, the maximum term a school can receive. We will be having another review this year.
